Welcome to Measuring Tape & AR Ruler App (the "App"), developed and operated by App Department ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Measurements are estimates

AR measurements are close, not exact. The App estimates distances from the camera picture and motion data. Results depend on light, surfaces, distance and how the device is moved, and can be wrong.
  • Check any measurement with a physical tape measure or a professional tool before you cut, drill, order materials or make any decision where an error costs money or safety.
  • The App is not a surveying, engineering, medical or legal-metrology instrument.
  • We accept no liability for loss, damage or injury arising from relying on a measurement.

2. Apple App Store terms

The App is licensed, not sold. Your use is also subject to Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions and the Licensed Application End User License Agreement, except as expanded here. These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the App and is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms.

3. Free features and Premium

  • Free. The Level tool without limit, and 3 Width measurements per day.
  • Premium. Unlimited Width measurements and the Height and Area tools.
  • Plans. Premium is an auto-renewable subscription offered as a weekly plan (with a free trial for eligible new subscribers) and a yearly plan. Prices are shown in the App before you confirm and vary by country.
  • Billing and renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
  • Cancelling. Manage or cancel in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
  • Refunds. Apple handles refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App to break any law or to film people without their consent. You may not reverse engineer, decompile or redistribute the App.

5. Intellectual property

The App, including its code, design and graphics, belongs to App Department and is protected by copyright and trademark law.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind to the extent permitted by law, including any warranty that measurements are accurate or fit for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes and termination

We may change the App and these Terms. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms. You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. This does not remove the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
